Stock Market Summary Saturday June 9th 2012

Yesterday's market action was positive.

The Nasdaq Composite gained almost 1% helping it regain most of the loss sustained on Thursday. Another good sign was it finished the day on its high signifying a good chance of it moving higher from this point. On the downside volume was below average which indicates a lack of institutional demand.

It was good to see the S&P 600 finding solid support at its 200 day moving average as it pulled back intraday.

India, Russia and global materials underperformed. Leading stocks continue to act well.

Ideally from this point I would like to see more up days on average or above volume showing the big players are going all in.
